We're so excited to travel back to the REDCLIFFE CAVES with you,

in this musical celebration and fundraiser.

To ensure you have the best experience possible, here's a reminder of some

important information to be aware of before you come along;

please share it with all members of your party!

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

GETTING HERE

The Redcliffe Caves are tucked into a corner of the Harbourside adjacent to the Benjamin Perry Boathouse. They can be accessed on foot from Redcliffe Parade, past the Ostrich pub along the waterside, or from the other direction through the large concrete area off Redcliffe Way.

Bristol Temple Meads and the Centre (served by many bus routes) are both approx. 15 mins walk away. Bikes may be locked up along railings outside the caves, but these are left at your own risk.

Parking is available (charges apply) at both the Redcliffe Parade Car Park, and occasionally on-street in the neighbouring roads. We encourage our audiences to seek public transport as their first port of call.

ON ARRIVAL

Please check in with our Box Office Steward, who will be located just outside the caves wearing a high vis vest. If you are a group we kindly request that you don't check in until all your party have arrived.

You will need your booking reference or booking name.

We recommend that you arrive no less than 10 minutes before the show to check in. The Box Office will be open 20 minutes before each show.

FACILITIES

A cash-only bar serving hot and cold drinks will be available within the caves and drinks may be taken into the performance.

There are no toilet facilities on-site at the caves. We have partnered with THE GOLDEN GUINEA ("Bristol's Best Backstreet Boozer") to offer 10% off drinks pre- and post-show, as well as access to their toilet facilities. This is a short walk from the caves, but does involve an uphill walk and some steps.

For accessible toilets we recommend popping to the nearby Mercure Hotel.

RAFFLE & MERCHANDISE

Before and after the show you will have the opportunity to enter our raffle and win exclusive prizes such as signed scripts and tickets to guided tours of the Suspension Bridge Vaults.

Copies of our Tempest soundtrack will be available to buy (£5 each) and you will also be able to pre-order live recordings of Concert in the Caves!

ACCESS & SEATING

Unreserved seating is provided for all ticket holders. These will be folding chairs so you may wish to bring a cushion for your comfort. If you have any access requirements, or wish to bring a wheelchair into the caves please contact the company and we'll be happy to assist you: info@insaneroot.co.uk

The majority of the performance space is accessible to those with walking difficulties or who need to make use of a wheelchair, although the ground is uneven and we advise all audience members to watch their step while on site.

TEMPERATURE

The caves maintain a consistent temperature of approx. 10 degrees celsius, and the main performance space will feel a little warmer than that, but we strongly recommend audience members wrap up warm in order to have the most comfortable experience possible. We will have some blankets on hand should you need them.

THE NATURE OF THE VENUE

The caves are all on one level, with a small ramp at the entrance, but can be uneven under foot - sensible footwear is recommended.

There are low ceilings in places so care must be taken when travelling through the corridors. We will light your way, but personal torches are encouraged. Areas we are not using will be kept in absolute darkness so it is essential that you stick to the path we create.

FAMILIES

The performance will include certain intense theatrical elements that may not be suitable for younger audience members: parental discretion is strongly advised.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Buggies and strollers will not be permitted in the main performance space, but can be left in our Front of House area.

RUNNING TIME

Approx. 60 minutes, no interval.

LATECOMERS

Latecomers will be permitted at a suitable break in the performance.

A FEW HOUSE RULES

Smoking is not permitted on-site.

Photography - or recording of any kind - is not permitted during the performance.

Thanks for reading, we hope you enjoy the show!
